Collimators are used to collimate (make parallel) laser light emerging from optical fibers. Different collimated beam diameters can be created depending on the collimator’s focal length. Hence, the beam diameter throughout the rest of the beam delivery components can be configured and maintained at the correct aspect ratio (magnification).

These collimators have a free aperture of 32 mm, and are available with focal lengths of 80 mm, 100 mm 120 mm and 150 mm. The collimator, in its standard configuration is designed for those fiber lasers fitted with a QB connector; however, other interfaces are available as an option. The collimation lens holder has an interface for water-cooling.
