This standard LT Ultra laser welding head comprises a collimator with aspherical lens (water cooled), a lens focussing head with safety glass and cross jet.

Optionally available are a 3D collision clutch unit as well as lateral or coaxial inert protective gas inlet.

Available focal lengths are 150 mm and 200 mm; the SLW welding head has a 32 mm clear aperture.

The LT-6 is a lens welding head with an auto-focus function to dynamically adjust the focal length.

Beside the auto-focus feature for process optimization, the LT-6 can also compensate for thermal drift within the optics. The 90° fiber coupling permits robot installation.

The illustration shows the LT-6 with an optionally available head exchange unit with built-in collision clutch for complete automatic process head exchange.
