Welding Nozzles and Cross-Jets
LT Ultra Cross Jet A cross-jet is used to protect the focussing optics (lens or parabolic mirror) from deposits, and particularly molten metallic debris erupting from the weld joint. The focused laser beam penetrates the supersonic gas flow from this jet at right-angles, which simply blows any molten particulate matter away thereby preserving the head. Cross-jets significantly increase the welding optic’s service life and the process reliability.
LT Ultra Rigid Cross Jet This type of optic protection cross jet, mounted on a rigid adapter, is supplied by LT Ultra to those customers wishing to integrate their inert gas supply themselves.
LT Ultra Laser Welding Nozzle LT Ultra supplies suitable lateral welding nozzles to cater for the majority of welding processes, which are typically unidimensional. The inert gas tube can tilt so it can be positioned for optimum process effectiveness. Replacing a worn unit is uncomplicated and simple to become familiarized with and the mounting itself can be directly water cooled to guarantee thermal stability even in high power applications.
LT Ultra Laser Welding Nozzle Coaxial inert gas delivery can be used for 2D and 3D applications, and in this respect, LT Ultra supplies the relevant components combined with the appropriate cross-jet. The complete mounting is prepared for direct water cooling.
